On July 27th 2007, Matthew Smith was cruelly taken from us at the age of 41. One of life's genuinely nice guys and much loved by his family and friends, Matthew left a wife, Lisa, and two children, Jake and Sophie.

They support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments.
